Baroness Grey

Legend has it that the Baroness of Grey, who may have lived in the 16th or 17th century, was married to a ship’s captain in the British Royal Navy. The story is that he never returned from a trading voyage to China. She refused to believe that her husband would never return and the Baroness walked to the port lands every morning to greet each ship in the hopes that one was her husband’s or had news of him. She did this until she died.

This tea was blended in her honor and includes the traditional bergamot of classic Earl Grey along with lemon. Part of our Earl Grey Collection.
